WHAT’S NEW?
NATURE INC. - Our new series on BBC World News
Nature Inc. is a new series putting a price tag on the planet’s billion year old life support system. It’ll show how destroying nature is costing us cold, hard cash.
Six eye-opening episodes will reveal just how much nature is worth to our economy: bees worth up to $20 billion to agriculture in North America; preserved watersheds that provide renewable power and clean water to vital industries; coral reefs that provide $375 billion in goods and services; mangroves that save lives and invasive species that cost $137 billion a year to the US alone.

Doctors on the Front Line on Swiss TV
This summer, three of our Doctors on the Front Line episodes will be broadcast by Swiss national, French speaking channel TSR. Broadcasts are as follows:
Doctors on the Front Line Haiti: Sunday 15th June at 11.00 CET on TSR1
(re-run at 19.00 CET on TSR2)
Doctors on the Front Line Sudan: Sunday 22nd June at 11.00 CET on TSR1
(re-run at 19.00 CET on TSR2)
Doctors on the Front Line Honduras: Sunday 29th June at 11.00 CET on TSR1

Paraíba meu Amor Swiss premiere and special night at the Montreux Jazz Festival
Our film Paraíba meu Amor about Brazil’s Nordeste forró music will be the main focus of a series of radio programmes on Swiss French-speaking radio station Option Musique from 30th June to 4th July, and from 7th to 11th July at 06.15 and 18.15 CET.
The film will have its Swiss premiere in Montreux on Friday 11th July at 18.00 CET, at Hollywood cinema.
Then a special forró night will take place at the Montreux Jazz Festival, with all the musicians featured in our film.
From Monday 14th July, the film will be showing in Vevey (Rex cinema), Lausanne (Bellevaux cinema) and Geneva (Bio cinema, Carouge).
