Rinconada
Our documentary “Rinconada: Glacier Gold”, which won an award at the Torello Mountain Film Festival (Barcelona, Spain), has been officially selected for two other festivals:
- The International Alpine Film Festival at Les Diablerets (FIFAD). From 18 to 25 September 2004 in Les Diablerets, Switzerland.
“Rinconada: Glacier Gold” will be shown on the main screen on Wednesday 22 September at 8 p.m.

- The Montreal International Adventure Film Festival (FIFAM).
From 22 to 24 October 2004 in Montreal, Canada. Selected as one of the best thirty current adventure films worldwide, “Rinconada: Glacier Gold” will be shown on Sunday 24 October, the final day of the festival.

Cotton
Only a year ago, we were at the ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization in Cancun where we followed the ministers of Mali, Chad, Benin, and Burkina Faso. Our documentary, “The Cotton War”, is now ready in its French version, and will be shown to MIPCOM Europe, from 4 to 8 October.
The Television Suisse Romande, TV station will be showing “The Cotton War” as one of its “Temps Présent” topics. This will be in January 2005 during the week of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Several other major television channels have expressed an interest in this film, including the BBC and CBS.

AIDS
After covering the Bangkok Conference, we went to India to film a factory which makes generic medicines, and we produced a series of interviews. The next two stages will be in Africa and the USA: Africa being the continent the worst affected by AIDS, and the USA having the largest aid donors and probably the biggest political, religious and economic stakes linked to AIDS.

Bam
The 26 December 2004 sees the first sad anniversary of the earthquake in Bam, Iran. At the moment we are preparing a report about the current situation in the town and its inhabitants. We shall be filming there in November. The production will be made in collaboration with the NGO “Swiss Solidarity”.
